Mayfield Beds – 24-Month  2 YEARS Peace of Mind Comprehensive Warranty

1. Overview

At Mayfield Beds, we want you to sleep comfortably—both on your bed and with complete peace of mind. That’s why every Mayfield bed frame comes with a straightforward 24-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.


2. Duration & Territory

Item Details
Length of cover 24 calendar months (730 days) from the purchase date shown on your receipt.
Territory Valid within the country where the product was originally purchased.
Original purchaser Warranty applies exclusively to the first retail purchaser. It is not automatically transferable if the bed frame is resold or gifted.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Your Mayfield bed frame is covered for faults arising from normal residential use, including:

Structural Components

  • Side rails

  • Headboard posts

  • Foot board/Foot End

  • Center support systems

Metal Fixings & Hardware

  • Bolts, brackets, centre support legs and other factory-installed fittings.

Finishes

  • Factory-applied paint, stain, or powder-coat that peels, bubbles, or blisters due to a manufacturing defect.

Moving Parts (where applicable)

  • Gas-lift mechanisms

  • Hinges

  • Other adjustable or lift-assisted components

Labour & Replacement Parts

  • Months 1–12: We supply replacement parts and cover reasonable labour/repair costs.

  • Months 13–24: All replacement parts remain free of charge; any labour or call-out fees are chargeable to the customer (quoted and agreed before work begins).


4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Routine cosmetic wear (light scratches, fabric pilling, small marks, colour variation).

  • Damage caused by:
    • Incorrect assembly or over-tightening of bolts
    • Using an unsupported or incorrect mattress size
    • Commercial, rental, or non-residential use
    • Humidity, mould, or water damage
    • Accidents, misuse, improper moving/transport

  • Mattresses, bedding, electrical accessories, or add-ons unless explicitly stated on the product listing.

  • Any unauthorised repairs, modifications, or alterations.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain fully protected.


5. Warranty Validity Requirements

To ensure your Mayfield Beds warranty remains valid, the following conditions must be met:

  • Proof of purchase (digital or paper receipt) must be provided.

  • Assembly must be completed exactly as per the supplied instruction manual.

  • Product must remain indoors in a dry, well-ventilated, climate-controlled environment.

  • Bolts and fixings must be checked and re-tightened after 30 days of first use and at least every six months thereafter.


6. How to Make a Claim

Follow the steps below so we can resolve your issue as quickly as possible:

  1. Photograph the issue – include both wide shots and close-ups.

  2. Email: support@mayfieldbeds.co.uk

  3. Include:

    • Order number / receipt

    • Photos (max 10MB total)

    • Short description of the problem and when it began

  4. Response time: We aim to reply within 2 business days.

  5. Assessment: We may request more photos or a virtual inspection call.

  6. Resolution options:

    • Free replacement part(s) dispatched within 5–7 working days

    • On-site repair where needed

    • Complete frame replacement if repair is not feasible

  7. Typical turnaround time: Most cases are resolved within 14 days of approval.


7. Shipping & Returns

  • Replacement parts are shipped via tracked courier at no cost to you.

  • If a defective item must be returned, we will supply a prepaid return label.

  • Where full frame replacement is authorised, customers may be asked to disassemble and pack the product unless otherwise agreed.


8. Spare Parts After Warranty

Mayfield Beds maintains spare parts for at least five years after a model is discontinued.
After the warranty expires, parts can still be supplied at cost plus postage.
